U.S. Military Service

I am a proud veteran of the longest war that has ever been fought by the United States – the Vietnam war. I served my country willingly as a combat infantry soldier with the U.S. Army from 1969-1971.

From September 8th, 1969 to September 8th, 1970, I served as a rifleman and 81mm mortar man with the 4th Infantry Division in the II Corp Region of the Central Highlands near the Cambodian border of what was the country of the Republic of South Vietnam.

Today, Vietnam is a unified nation under a brutal, vicious, Communist government. This is not what the 58,000 Americans who were killed and the 300,000 that were wounded, and the 2,500 American prisoners of war who were abandoned fought to establish!

Now we see the same pattern of the betrayal taking form in the so-called “War on Terrorism.” The political leadership of BOTH MAJOR PARTIES – the current Repugnant Republicans and the Decadent Democrats of the past and present, are prepared to waste the lives of thousands of Americans in a war they say could last 20 YEARS or longer!
